Uniform

At Cornelius Vermuyden School, wearing the correct uniform is an important part of school life. It reflects our high standards and helps create a sense of pride and belonging among our students.

Our smart and consistent appearance contributes to the school’s strong reputation in the wider community and helps maintain a focused, professional environment that supports learning and achievement.

We expect all students to wear the full uniform correctly every day, as part of our commitment to excellence.

• One single stud in each ear is permitted for boys; the stud must be worn in the lower part of the earlobe and should be removed for PE; students wearing studs in their ears other than in their lobes will be expected to remove them.
• Please note that students are not to wear either false nails or eyelashes to school.
• No nose / Lip studs.
• School tie (to be worn at all times)
• No hoodies to be worn in school.The only exception to this is that Girls can wear the PE Hoodie during PE lessons.

Boys' Uniform

• Plain black blazer with the school badge
• Plain black v-neck pullover with yellow stripe round neck
• Plain white shirt with collar
• School tie (to be worn at all times)
• Plain black trousers
• Plain black socks
• Sensible plain black shoes without decoration (no trainers or sling backs)
• Plain coat or anorak, preferably in a dark colour

Girls' Uniform

• Plain black blazer with the school badge
• Plain black v-neck pullover with yellow stripe round neck
• plain white shirt with collar
• School tie (to be worn at all times)
• Plain black pleated skirt (school approved style) with hem no more than 2'' above the knee and not below the mid-calf
• Plain black trousers - optional
• Plain black ankle length socks
• Plain black or natural tights
• Sensible plain black shoes without decoration (no trainers or sling backs)
• Plain coat or anorak, preferably in a dark colour

PE Kit

• Plain black sports shorts (not nike pros or cycling shorts)
• Black and gold shorts (optional)
• Black and gold polo shirt with collar and logo
• White sport socks
• Trainers (laced, non-marking, no converse/vans/huarache or fashion shoes)
• Plain black jogging bottoms / sports leggins (optional)
• Cornelius black 1/4 zip mid layer top
